About the Wild Sheep Foundation Banquet

The Utah Wild Sheep Foundation Banquet is an annual event hosted by the Utah Wild Sheep Foundation. It is the highest conservation support-generating event Utah WSF puts forth each year and is a huge driver of the conservation efforts the Utah Wild Sheep Foundation is able to support in the state.

Each year, the Utah Wild Sheep Foundation Banquet draws attention for its exclusive auctioned hunts, and is the best opportunity to draw a sheep tag. These aren’t just any hunts; they include at least five sheep hunts, alongside other prized opportunities for mountain goat, elk, turkey hunts, and adventures in far-flung locales such as Alaska, Africa, Argentina, and Mexico.

However, the UWSF banquet is more than just a hunting draw; it’s a celebration of conservation efforts and the camaraderie that binds the hunting and outdoor communities. With seating capped at 475 to maintain an intimate and engaging atmosphere, tickets are highly sought after and known to sell out quickly.

The event’s success is crucial for funding the UWSF’s conservation projects, which include habitat restoration, research, and the management of diseases that threaten wild sheep populations. It’s a testament to the foundation’s commitment to ensuring that future generations can enjoy the majesty of these animals in their natural habitats.
